This class will take place in-person at our studio at 4001 N Ravenswood Ave Unit 303-B. Proof of vaccination is required to register. Repeatable scene study and the culmination of our Mesiner Acting Program.
In Level 5: Process to Performance you’ll utilize the steps you’ve learned in Levels 1 – 4 in a rehearsal process to understand how you can take the Meisner work outside of our classroom and into the real world. While many directors and other actors in the working world won’t utilize these tools, we’ll help you understand how you can do this work on your own outside of the rehearsal room and show up to the first rehearsal prepared to collaborate. As this class requires more homework than Levels 1 – 4, all students must be prepared to dedicate more time outside of class. Level 5 culminates in a showcase to celebrate all of your work in the Meisner Acting Program at Green Shirt Studio.

| Cancellation and Attendance Policy | Student Cancellation Alternatively, students who withdraw more than 7 days prior to the start date can keep $111.60 non-refundable deposit on file to be applied to a future class and any other payments made will be refunded to the original payment method. If you drop the class ON THE DAY OF THE FIRST CLASS OR AFTER, the full tuition is non-refundable, non-transferrable, and may not be kept on file for a future class. Studio Cancellation In the event that class is canceled due to circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to extreme weather and pandemic related shutdowns), make-up classes will be scheduled as soon as it’s safe for our students and instructors to be together safely at the studio. In some cases classes may transfer to an online platform. If a student is unable to attend the rescheduled class due to circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to extreme weather and pandemic related shutdowns) that student will receive credit on their account for the value of missed classes. Attendance Policy We understand that things do come up so if you know you’re going to miss a class, please give your instructor as advance notice as possible. This will help them get you caught up and not throw off the rest of the group. Scheduling a make-up class is possible but not guaranteed. Students enrolled in our Meisner Acting Program can only advance to the next level if they’ve attended at least 6 of their 8 sessions. If a student misses more than 2 sessions, they will need to retake the level in order to advance in the program. |
