All current and former Green Shirt students are invited to participate. No experience needed to write, direct, or act. Please double check your calendar with the festival calendar at the link below before signing up. We’ll do this again soon so if you have any conflicts and can’t make it, we’ll see you in the next one!
In this festival, the Green Shirt community will create, rehearse, and perform four new ten minutes plays. This is a fun opportunity for members of our community to collaborate, try something new, and hone their craft.
Summer 2022 10 Minute Fest playwright prompts:
Setting: Present Day on a rooftop in Chicago
The main conflict can’t hinge on romance
One character must start the scene with a big emotional prep or have a big emotional shift during the story
Must include the line, “How bout that.”
Directors and actors participating in the festival must be available for all the dates listed in the calendar below which include July 15 + 22 and August 1, 2, 5, and 6.
Playwrights must have their first draft complete by July 11 and final draft completed July 15.
